Nat'l Archives Gun Camera Still Photographs

Was this the attack that put Rommel out of action during the battle for Normandy?
These stills are from the gun camera footage taken in Lt. Harold Miller's P-47 Thunderbolt.
For a brief period, (due to German propaganda), it was believed that Rommel
had been killed in the attack. However he survived and was later subjected to a grimmer fate.
