Production continues as of late 2009, with more than 8 staged recreations, and continuing efforts to search for additional veterans in the story. More than thirty veterans have been interviewed who were directly involved in the story. Some of them sadly passed away not long after the interviews were completed. The story continues to evolve as lengthy research continues in an effort to locate the veterans. No stone is left unturned trying to reach out to these men and women located throughout the country. Many of them are in their late 80's, early 90's.

Historical research continues at both the Nat'l Archives, and most recently at the Army War College in Carlisle Pa.

With no official funding, or adequate staff, the challenges are daunting, but the goal is clear. My thanks to everyone who continue to support the project.
